Stadium of Fire!!

We went to the Stadium of Fire for the 4th of July. I found some good seats for pretty cheap on KSL.com. We went with my brother Kody and his wife Brianna. It was so amazing, and Carrie Underwood was so good live! I would love to go to one of her concerts. We were at the south end of the stadium where the fireworks were, so they were so close. It felt like they were going to fall on us, and it was so loud. I loved it! The next day we went to Tyrel's sister's baby's blessing, and afterwards we went to the local pavilion and had good food and celebrated her other son's bday with a pinata for the kids. It was a fun weekend. We were glad to spend time with both sides of the family!

Jackson!

Our family went to Jackson for Memorial day weekend. We drove 2 cars so that I could stay up there the following week, and Tyrel drove back home for work. It was tons of fun to hang out for a week and let the kids get in plenty of cousin time, even though it was cloudy and rainy the whole time. We managed to have some fun, and even got about a half hour of sunshine in, which was spent at the park. Before the sun came out, it poured on us for about 15 min. the kids loved playing in the rain though, and they dried off enough when the sun finally came out!

Like father, like son. Sam will probably have the game of chess mastered by the time he turns 8.(which is in 2 years).

Popcorn, cousins, and a good movie. Nothin' beats that!

Slacker!!

Okay, so I know I've been slacking lately on the blogging, but I haven't been in the mood to just sit down and do it. There hasn't been much going on, but I found some things to put on here to tell you about. So enjoy and hopefully I won't wait for another month and a half to blog again!

New countertop and sink!

So Tyrel finally got enough time to install the new countertop with a built in sink. It was a really rainy day, so they sent him home from work, and we got it done. I have a little more counter space now to set my crap on! Even Luke's highchair! Now if we could only get arouund to installing the new dishwasher, cuz the old one is getting really worn out and is about to break! AKA: me, I'm the dishwasher! I love the sink. It's so clean & white! Now that sink is full of dishes waiting to be washed!:)

THE ZOO!!!

Mother's Day weekend I met up with my brother Shane and his family and we went to the zoo in Idaho Falls. It was fun to get away for the day and let the kids play together and run wild. Logan & Katie held hands practically the whole time. They are so cute together! After that we went shopping to a few stores and went out to eat for dinner. Tyrel couldn't come cuz he had to work that Saturday, but we missed him, but we still had fun without him!:) JK. Thanks Shane & Dawna for inviting us. It was way fun!
